Policies

Whitehill Primary School signed the DfES Anti-Bullying Charter on 29th January 2004

This policy has been written taking the following school aims and objectives into consideration.

Develop an understanding of all regarding
race, gender, ability and disability. Objective 5 and 6

Develop the child’s self image and esteem.

Develop children as independent learners.

Develop a caring attitude towards each other
by behaving in a positive and responsible
manner.

Provide experiences which will develop our
pupils spiritual and moral understanding.

At Whitehill Primary School we have a very positive ethos which promotes equality, fairness and mutual concern. This is an essential counter-balance to those children and parents who may be starting from somewhere else entirely.

As with other issues of child protection pupils need to feel that someone is listening to their version of what is going on.
