Whitehill have been awarded a grant from the National lottery ‘Awards for All’ fund that has enabled us to provide a free before school ‘Boxercise’ style session. This session is aimed to improve children’s fitness through providing exercise before school. This should also mean that they are then more alert during the day whilst in lessons. The sessions are to be delivered by a company called Junior Jam who have a run very popular type of activity for 2 terms during our Enrichment afternoon, alongside Miss Ackroyd (KS2 Learning Mentor). The sessions are to run from 7.30am – 8.15am on Tuesday Mornings starting from 4th March in the Junior Hall. The children will then be encouraged to have some breakfast in the pre-school breakfast club
