I would like to thank all staff, parents and children for their support with our Harvest celebrations. Your donations of tinned and dried foods were very generous. During the morning the children in each class had a house competition to make the most attractive Harvest baskets.
During the afternoon we held two Harvest thanksgiving assemblies for the Infants and the Juniors-we sang Harvest hymns and songs and Mr Welch lead prayers and gave a wonderful Harvest address. The winning Harvest boxes came from Dahl in KS1 and from King-Smith in KS2-well done.
The boxes will now be delivered to our Senior Citizens within our community to remind them that as the dark nights draw on that we really do care for them-what a brilliant whole school event and thank you to Mr Armitage our Musical Director.
